Miserable place. I challenge you to find the staff smiling and the floor manager is even worse. The culture must be really bad. Any attempt at having a joke with the staff is cut down straight away and treated as if customers are being rude.
Such a wonderful stay at Staybridge Suites. The suite was spacious, incredibly well fitted and in a great location for our weekend away. The staff were all super friendly, welcoming and made it feel like nothing was too much trouble. Would thoroughly recommend.

Couldn't stand to spend anymore time here than absolutely necessary. For £40 more than I paid I could have stayed in a 5 star hotel up the road. Certainly not worth what I paid, which was just short of £cem. The breakfast was average, tables were not wiped (I did this myself) there were missing items off the advertised menu which was cheap and tasteless. Just about got through it. Certainly the worst hotel I have stayed in. Buyer beware!

Conveniently located at the heart of Birmingham. Within a mile radius, you could reach the canal, the library, the Victoria square China town etc. Everything is within reach. There is a club for you to grab some soft drink which is a nice peak for members.
Upon entry I created a membership and filled out the form using a branded Genting pen which I decided to keep (lol) The desk staff were friendly but serious - this is where I was then told I could claim a free £10 - yipeeeee - I made my way to the bar when I was greeted by John the Barman - where when showing him my newly created membership card -received 10% of my bill- John was efficient and friendly and then as I was walking round the tables staff advised me on roulette tables where I decided to play with the dealer - communication was clear and easy to understand the rules and minimum bets upon that table - when WON I decided that table was not for me - overall I had a fantastic time and look forward to finding out more unlock-able benefits my membership brings !
